It’s been awhile

This is an awkward hello. I believe it’s been almost exactly a year since I’ve written on Medium but I promise I’ve been thinking about you everyday! What can I say, I’m a busy (young) man.

All jokes aside, I can’t recall any major changes in the past year. It’s funny to me how fast life sneaks up on you. One day, I’m a junior in high school, dreaming of the day I finally get to leave and the next I’m sitting in a coffee house writing a blog post while everyone I know is getting an education.

I’m not complaining, though. If we’re being honest, it’s pretty great. I’m officially a high school graduate and although bittersweet, the aftertaste is surprisingly pleasant. Now that I think of it, the last year of my life has been a rollercoaster. Let’s recap: Landscaping business took off, fell in love, enjoyed the best summer on record, continued growing my digital ad agency, started and finished my senior year of high school, and recently got out of a relationship. Man, talk about a plot twist for those of you reading carefully. Who am I kidding, nobody reads this shit.

Anyways, I’ve recently decided to continue my academic career at The University of Alabama in the fall as a Business Management Major and Saturday morning tailgate enthusiast. The next four years will be the best of my life and as much as I wish I could be 10 years old again, I want to fast forward a few months and get the party started. In the library, studying of course. ;)

I like writing because I can insert what I think is witty humor and quietly chuckle while I write it, because nobody can tell me it’s not funny!! Follow me and read my posts if you want, otherwise seeeeyuuuuuhhhh.
